Search On In Northwest U.S. For Murder Suspect In Possible Kidnapping

(San Diego, CA)  --  The search for a murder suspect and possible kidnapper is expanding to the northwestern U.S.  Police say James DiMaggio may have killed a San Diego-area woman and her son before abducting her teenage daughter.  An AMBER Alert has been expanded to Oregon and Washington state due to reports that the Nissan Versa DiMaggio may be driving was spotted in the area.  There's some speculation he may be trying to get to Canada with 16-year-old Hannah Anderson.

Detectives say DiMaggio set the family home on fire following the killings.  They're working to identify the remains of a young child inside, which may be that of the woman's son.

KFI interview Pam Ragland, who recently led police to the body of Terry Smith Jr in Menifee. Smith was killed allegedly by his half brother.

Pam Ragland shared some insight about the Amber Alert case that has now spread north to Oregon and Washington. Read more about the search for 16-year-old Hannah Anderson and her kidnapper on the KFI News Blog
