Weaving and speeding on Route 9 in Queensbury, a Hudson Falls woman was arrested around 10:45 p.m. Monday night, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
First, Carla Frieman, 50, was busted for Aggravated DWI after she was seen weaving in her lane of travel and speeding on Route 9 in Queensbury Monday night, July 14, police said. Frieman left her car in a parking lot on Route 9 while she was processed by Sgt. R.J. Bartlett, blowing a .20 on her blood alcohol content list and charged with having an open container of alcohol in her vehicle, police said. Frieman was given a ride to her home and released at 11:54 p.m.
Then at 12:34 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15, the Sheriff’s Office got information that Frieman was walking back to her vehicle in Queensbury and was going to drive it home. Officer T.J. Morse arrived to find Frieman trying to drive out of the parking lot.
She was arrested at 1:00 a.m., again for DWI and this time, her BAC was .14%.
This time, Frieman was released to a third party and is due to appear in Queensbury Town Court, authorities said.
