Vigils Against Syria

Congress ends a five-week recess today, plunging into an already tense agenda that now includes consideration of a request to authorize a military strike on Syria over alleged use of chemical weapons by regime forces. Looming deadlines on budget issues are another major issue that's been unresolved for months. Immigration has also been a hot topic but has seemingly moved to the back burner.

So now, is planning several vigils across the state to protest any U.S. military force in Syria. Tonight, Monday night, there will be vigils in Albany, Delmar, New Lebanon and Saratoga Springs.

The Albany event is actually in Colonie tonight at 6:30 at corner of Wolf Rd. & Central Ave. outside Colonie Center. You’re asked to bring a candle or a sign.
