A Livingston man, 62, is facing sex abuse charges with a girl under the age of 13 in the town of Greenport, according to the New York State Police. They’ve arrested Daniel Davis during a joint investigation with the Columbia-Greene Child Advocacy Center and the Columbia County D.A.’s office. Davis was arraigned yesterday.
Davis is charged with one count of Attempted Sex Abuse (1st degree, Class-E Felony) and one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Class-A Misdemeanor). Davis was arraigned in the Town of Livingston Court and sent to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail or $50,000 bond. He is due back in court Thursday, Oct. 3.
