After a month-long burglary investigation, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office arrested Brandon M. Sealey after tracking him down in Fort Plain, investigators said.
Authorities said Sealey, 20, burglarized two separate homes and is suspected in a third for stealing pills and cash over the past month. They first thought that Sealey fled to North Carolina however on October 10 investigators received a tip that he was living in the Village of Ft. Plain.
Sealey was questioned at the Sheriff’s Office and reportedly confessed, investigators said. He was arraigned in the Village of Canajoharie Court in front of Judge Myers and sent to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.
Anyone with information about these cases or any other case is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 518-673-2554, 518-853-5500 or 518-736-1850. Assisting the Sheriff’s office was the Canajoharie and Fort Plain Police Departments.
