Extended assistance for flood victims

More help for recent flooding victims in upstate New York. The American Red Cross is extending its bulk distribution site in Fort Plain through the weekend. The site on Haslett Park on Main Street will be open from 10am to 2pm Saturday and Sunday. Red Cross volunteers are providing water and clean-up supplies, and trained volunteers are available to offer emotional support. Distribution sites taking place in Ilion and Mohawk in Herkimer County and the Village of Clinton in Oneida County. Parts of those counties are also recovering from heavy flooding last week.
