A getaway bike used in a bank robbery…but the bike is built for speed.

Schenectady Police tell WGY News a woman entered the Key Bank on Eastern Parkway Friday morning and implied she had a weapon.  A teller handed her some cash, and the woman made her getaway by jumping on the back of a waiting BMX bicycle.  How much cash the two suspects got away with is unknown.
 
Here’s a description of the suspects from the Schenectady Police Department’s news release:

A light skinned black female, who appeared to be in her late teens to early 20s, approximately 5’0” – 5’3” tall. The suspect was last seen wearing a blue NY Yankees baseball cap with a flat brim, a blue and white shirt, and Capri pants.

"BMX bicycle, operated by a black male, last seen wearing a white shirt and jeans.  The two suspects were seen headed East on Eastern Parkway.”
